The questions parents usually ask.
No. We start from scratch — Tinkercad is built for beginners and Viaan walks every kid through it personally.
Their own 3D print, 2–3 DF3D stickers, a Vox mascot card, a filament sample, and a 5% off code for the shop. They also get a "bring a friend to the next workshop — you both save 15%" card. If their design takes longer than the session, we post it to you within the week — included in the price.
Totally up to you. Parents who stay are welcome to sit with their kid and help — it's a nice way to do it together. Otherwise just drop off and pick up at the end.
That's fine. Every kid also goes home with a pre-made DF3D keychain so no one leaves empty-handed, and we'll post the in-progress print to you that week.
If possible, bring a laptop — kids design best on a screen they're already used to. If you can't, no worries: we'll have laptops ready to use. Everything else (printer, filament, design help, snacks, take-home bag) is on us. If they have a favourite reference image or sketch they want to turn into a 3D print, bring that too.
We keep snacks simple — juice boxes, fruit, and dry cookies. Let us know any allergies at signup and we'll work around them.
